The 2022 vintage was warm and dry, with excellent ripening conditions and notable diurnal range, producing concentrated and powerful fruit.
Tasting Note:
Deep garnet red in the glass. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, and plum are lifted by hints of black pepper and liquorice. Matured for 18 months in a mix of French and American oak, this Shiraz gains layers of vanilla, espresso, and dark chocolate. The palate is rich and concentrated, with firm yet fine-grained tannins and medium-high acidity providing structure. Long and powerful finish with mocha and spice undertones. A bold wine, perfect with chargrilled steak or roast lamb.
